Apple will release a tablet version of the Powerbook. I know there is a 3rd party company doing this already, however, I’d prefer to see a convertible model.
8Gb FC will be a flop!
10Gb Ethernet will become a standard in iSCSI backbone networks!
MAID disk technology will slowly start to gain a larger market share for archive and backup disk target deployments.
All major disk manufacturer will release a “Green” storage product, each claiming less utility overhead than the next.
Apple will release a version of OSX that can be virtualized.

I think that is a good start on predictions for the New Year. I hope everyone had a great holiday season.
